In 1995 I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Crafts with a concentration in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. I also studied three dimensional and Architectural design, winning several awards. I also have had my works on display internationally with the highlight being invited to show in the Worshipful Hall of Goldsmiths in London England at the 1995 "Graduates" Show. These courses enhanced my personal interests and abilities.

I was first introduced to the World Wide Web in 1990 at the "Ethics in Architecture" lecture at Kent State. One particular lecturer discussed cyberspace and how in the future people will be communicating via Avatars to one another. The idea intrigued me be I did not see it as a viable media with the state of technology at that time. The idea did intrigue me though. I was able to experiment with early VRML software such as Virtus Walk Through. By 1997, I had a powerful computer and purchased my first modem and I have been online since that moment. In order to obtain more information about web design, I enrolled in the continuing studies program at Cuyahoga Community College, first starting in Graphic Communication Management Technology. I enrolled in eventually all of the multimedia courses that are offered at the college. When the Multimedia degree program became available, I changed majors to concentrate in this field. I will be graduating this Fall semester, 2003.

It was at this time when my avenues of study led me to my current Employment as a Web Designer at Western Reserve Systems. For relaxation my hobbies include creating custom jewelry, sculpture and painting in acrylics and watercolors. I also enjoy to go out and sketch architectural, and nature sites.
